Miramar Florida is a city within Broward County, one of the three counties that make up the South Florida area. The city of Miramar is on the southwest section of the county, it is bordered by Pembroke Pines to the north, Pembroke park and Hallandale beach to the east, Miami-dade county to the south and the Florida everglades to the west.
The city of Miramar is made up of approximately 31 square miles, with an estimated population of 110,000 residents.
When talking about real estate in Miramar, there are two sections;
East Miramar is mostly older and smaller homes. The homes on the east side of Miramar are lower priced, and general make great rental income properties.
Real Estate in West Miramar has more demand. The west side of Miramar has numerous townhouses, condo and newly built single family homes, along with a stretch along Miramar Blvd that has acres lots with huge homes. These homes were recently built in the 2000′s providing better schools and access to the South Florida area.
